The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to the Law “On Grain and Grain Market in Ukraine” (re optimization of forming grain resources of Ukraine)

The bill (Reg. No. 3140) stipulates cancellation of formation mechanism of regional grain resources.

The Committee members also took into account that in reality in Oblast budgets there are often no funds for forming regional grain resources while the existence of legislative provisions for such grain mechanism remains a matter of unreasonable restrictions on the movement of grain within Ukraine, this also leads to corrupt practices in this sphere and financial losses for agrarians.
